Under
a licensing agreement with Hossegor, France-based Quiksilver, Inc.,
A&A Optical launches Quiksilver and Roxy ophthalmic eyewear, two
global brands whose names are synonymous with the board-riding
lifestyle and youth culture. The new line consists of nine Quiksilver
styles with cutting-edge designs, retro shapes and sporty, casual
looks, and seven Roxy frames with graphic variations on the iconic Roxy
signature, playful colors and contemporary details in trend-setting
shapes. Frame materials consist of metal and acetate. Details include
texturing, hearts and flowers motifs, hanging charms and rotating,
co-injected rubber temples.

PHILOSOPHY:
“We are excited about the introduction of the Quiksilver and Roxy
eyewear collections,” says Robert Liener, A&A president and CEO.
“These collections enhance our portfolio by connecting with the
brand-aware youth consumer who seeks fashion-forward, fun and sporty

Quiksilver caters to young, athletic and youth-minded people with
its expansive product lines in surf wear, snowboard wear, accessories,
board sport-related equipment and personal care products. Quiksilver
sells its products in surf, specialty and department stores worldwide
and also owns approximately 470 of its own stores. The Roxy brand,
founded by Quiksilver, Inc., in 1991, was the first surfing brand
targeted to girls. Roxy products include sportswear, fashion footwear,
accessories, snowboards, skis and health and beauty products. They are
