VINTAGE EYEGLASSES
Vintage eyeglasses are classic. Colors, shapes, detailing and styles of vintage eyeglasses are all original, with craftsmanship no longer found in today's eyewear. Vintage eyeglasses, some of which are antique eyeglasses, have never been used and stored carefully for years. All vintag eyeglasses frames are in new, unused condition.
Vintage eyeglasses were designed and created in another era. In past years, especially the 1970's and 1980's, highly crafted eyewear was made in Italy using skill that is rarely seen in today's models. During the 1908's and 1990's most eyewear production shifted to the Far East. Although there still is some fine eyewear production in Italy now, many of our best eyeglasses frames from Italy are considered vintage eyeglasses, and sometimes antique eyeglasses.
