In the year 2006, Jason Wu launched his eponymous line and since then has become the favorite among downtown New York starlets who love and appreciate his signature style of fuss free elegance. From his full length gowns to his day dresses, all of Wu's line of pieces incorporate clean, classic lines along with a mixture of bright colors and prints, all without being too flashy. This combination makes his designs modern, wearable, and always noteworthy.

Jason was born in Taipei Taiwan but at the age of nine years he moved to British Columbia Canada, then he attended Eagle Brook school in Deerfield Massachusetts. He started learning design by creating and sewing designs for dolls for the Integrity toy company. He did this under the line name of "Jason Wu Dolls" and later he changed that to the name of "Fashion Royalty" after only one year of doing that with the toy company he was named the creative director of the entire organization. It was with the money he made and saved from his years of doll designing that he would launch his full collection in 2006. In the year 2008, he won the fashion group international's rising Star award. Some of Jason's early clients included Ivana Trump, January Jones, and Amber Valletta.

In the year 2013 he named the art director of the German fashion house Hugo Boss where he would oversee their entire womenswear line. Since then, Jason has become one of the brightest stars in American fashion and he has accomplished this not by following particular waves or trends but rather by following his keen instinct for knowing how women want to look.
