Revue Atelier 5 Glasses

This is a truly rare vintage 1976 eyeglasses frame produced at the Atelier studio in Austria, in 1976. High quality and hand-finished, this frame has a plastic frame front with metal hinges and temples. It features a big squarish lens shape which was the forerunner of the mid-1980's Jackie O. style. The frame front is pink and grey done in an elegant smoky fashion, and would look terrific as sunglasses. Atelier was an Austrian design studio owned by the Anger family in Linz. Atelier later closed, and the Angers continued their eyewear business with Silhouette and Optyl. High quality, hand finished.
