Edge Buff
Edge buffing leaves a dull, matte finish. Most people prefer this because light reflecting off the edge of the lens can be annoying, and it also makes the thickness of the lens obvious. However, edge buffing leaves a slightly squared-off lens edge. Removing this edge requires edge rolling.
