Anti-reflective coating on sunglasses is absolutely essential for fishing, as essential as polarization. No sunglasses provide a perfect fit at the top, bottom and sides, and some light will come in, bounce off the backside of the lenses and then into your eyes which is called “reflected glare”. This reflected glare is extremely tiring and causes eye fatigue, and it is, therefore, absolutely essential that anti-reflective coating is placed on the backside of lenses, the side closest to your eyes, so that light coming in from the top, bottom, and the sides passes through the lens and does not bounce into your eyes.
