Thinnest lens available for strong prescriptions.  If you need the thinnest lenses possible WITH the best vision,, we recommend a DIGITAL 1.74.  Do not settle for a cheap, non-digital 1.74 lens because your vision and viewing area will be significantly downgraded versus the digital choice. 

Varilux Physio 1.74 Index is for strong correction, up to  +/-12.00 sphere.  State of the art  technology reduces distortion in this ultra high index lens for individuals with high corrections. Available in our stores, the Varilux Physio 1.74 Index lens has a wider "corridor" than the Varilux Comfort lens.  The "corridor" is the hourglass-shaped area in the middle of the lens that you can see through.  With a wider corridor, you do not have to move your head as much to see objects on the sides which makes it more comfortable.  The Varilux Physio 1.74 Index lens is available in this range:  -12.75 to +6.00 sphere, -3.00 to +3.00 cylinder, and up to +3.00 add.
